Fashion and Music: No Doubt reuniting and L.A.M.B. collection review
No Doubt is reuniting for the production of a new album and plans of a tour next year. The group’s last album, Rock Steady, was released in 2001, and was followed by Gwen Stefani’s solo albums and fashion design projects under the label L.A.M.B. (More below about L.A.M.B.’s soul-less fashion.)
If you can’t wait until the big No Doubt tour begins, pick up tickets to the Bamboozle Festival in New York. No Doubt has signed on to be the headlining band on May 3, 2009. The Bamboozle Festival is the largest music festival in New York and will be featuring Fall Out Boy as the headliner gig on day 1 (May 2). Buy your tickets from the Bamboozle Festival website here, from the Live Nation website, or visit ticketmaster.com.
Gwen Stefani’s clothing label, L.A.M.B. is currently offering 40% off the entire fall 2008 collection. The L.A.M.B. collection is hardly notable; seems like Stefani’s edge got watered down to department-store basics when she attempted to design for the masses. The only thing on the site that I could see myself wearing is the Hooded Jacket 2 (reduced to $237) pictured below. It’s nothing special, really.
But what about the rest of the L.A.M.B. collection? Who is going to buy this stuff?
We’re better off accessorizing our tech products. This week DiNG released customized wraps for cell phones, iPods, laptops, and gaming systems designed using No Doubt album covers and pictures. Check them out below and click here to view the entire collection for purchase (about $15 each).

I agree with you that LAMB lost it’s significance when Gwen’s original style got watered down to suit the masses. Unfortunately there are some of us left in the masses that really WOULD buy her crazy cute clothing!
