LG Fashion Week – Day 1

It was quite the opening day at LG Fashion Week! The people, the Barbie buzz, the runway shows- what a sight! Here’s the FIM VIDEO of day one at LG Fashion Week:

The Barbie Cocktail Party launched LG Fashion Week and the who’s who were under the tent: ETalk show host Ben Mulroney, Much Music comedian Trevor Boris, and many more decked-out local and international celebrities, not to mention all the big editors and writers from Vogue, Fashion, Flare, Style, Glamour, L’Officiel and many more.

David Dixon kicked off the week with two fun and feminine collections- the first, his Fall/winter 09 collection and the second, his special collection for the eternal fun-loving female none other than Barbie!

The Barbie collection is a life-sized collection inspired by over 50 years of Barbie’s style choices while playing house with Ken or roaring away in her unforgettable pink convertible. The collection provides a lot of fun pieces to coordinate- playful printed skirts, coats, and dresses accessorized with a special shoe collection by Town Shoes and jewelry by Canada’s own Foxy Originals.
