The D&G Fragrance Anthology, a.k.a. Tarot game in a bottle featuring Brazilian boxer Fernando Fernandes and model Eva Herzigova in 10- La Roue de la Fortune

To borrow from Bruno: “It’s Dolce & Gabbana, HELLO!”

Launching this September, D&G’s latest fragrance project attempts to answer the question, “Who am I? Who do I want to be?” with a collection of “five eternal dramatis personae” borrowed from the Gallic game of the Tarot.

The five new fragrances are seductively titled according to the game’s major players: the provocative Le Bateleur, the irrepressible L’Imperatrice, the sensual L’Amoureux, the daring La Roue de la Fortune, and the hypnotizing La Lune.

The D&G Fragrance Anthology

The simple-shaped bottles are numbered according to the Tarot and, in keeping with the game’s transcendence of gender, the fragrances are for men and women.

“We all have many different sides to our personalities,” comments Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. “The D&G Fragrance Anthology allows us to express every one of them, and is the perfect representation of the D&G world: innovative, compelling, luxurious and liberated.”

The Campaign

The theme of enigmatic personalities and enduring icons manifests itself in the sexy campaign for The Anthology, featuring supermodels of the ’90s Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, Naomi Campbell as well as Brazilian boxer-turned model-Fernando Fernandes (appearing in 10-La Roue de la Fortune, pictured top), model Noah Mills featured in 6-L’Amoureux, and Tyson Ballou in 1-Le Bateleur (all pictured below).

Fragrance Notes

6 L’Amoureux

Spices & musk: bergamot, juniper, pink pepper, birch leaf, cardamom and orris heart, with a wood and musk base.

Personality: romance and intensity. The Charmer.

Exotic fruit & florals: watermelon, kiwi, pink cyclamen.

Contradictions: aquatic, cedar wood and vetyver.
