Your Oscar Guide

March 6, 2010

The Oscars have finally arrived and will usher glamour and tackiness into our living rooms on Sunday night.

How are you going to watch the Oscars?

I’m not one for sharing. I like to have my peace, quiet and the total control of the remote. I’ve already warned my husband that this show is my Superbowl – I’ve booked the living-room TV from 4pm on — pre-shows.

Here is my guide for the Oscar party:

Party Ideas: check out these Oscar party ideas from Early Show host Katie Lee:

Pre-show Specials:

Barbara Walter’s Special: after a 29-year run, Barbara’s most tuned in pre-Oscar show will come to an end. She will sit down for a chat with Mo’Nique and Sandra Bullock at 6pm on Sunday night.

ABC Official Pre-show Special:  Sherri Shepherd and Kathy Ireland interview the stars on the red carpet at 8pm, followed by the big show.

Live from the Red Carpet on E!: capture all the live red-carpet arrivals on E! Network, or check out their live blogs on the E! website.
