The forecast for spring is bright with florals, mixed prints and heights for the kitten fans all the way to the sky-high platforms
Is it spring yet? Because I know I’m ready.
As last week’s cold snap finally loosens its grip for some friendlier temperatures, I’m thinking that spring pumps would go down really easily.
Here is my list of personal faves from Nine West’s spring lineup:

Power to the fluorescents! Every colour is featured this season with unexpected combinations that are fun and help maximize the outfit possibilities

Focus on the heel: details are on the heel with exciting geometric patterns and contrasting colours such as these mullet-inspired sandals (business at the front, party at the back)

Buckles are still a big deal and the ankle continues to be a focal point with straps and ribbons, contrast in high gloss with matte, black and white- easy for office dressing and LBD cinq-à-sept

It’s a jungle out there with big florals and leafy tropical greens

Lovely textiles and shiny gems are part of the season’s total mix

Aristocratic slipper-esque flats for spring slacks

Tiffany& Co mint green is everywhere on cardis, pencil pants and shoes. This is a nice option for jazzing up with the trend without going whole hog

Ka-Pow!

I love this combo- the ultimate girl fun: leopard print with polka dots

This is a more street wear-inspired roundup in the Isabel Marant vibe

In case you thought colour was out

So long pastels- this is the deeper idea of soft mint and with that shine, it is sensational

Sole sparkles for (what else?) fun

The idea of tribal is still around and now we see some henna-like patterns on cork

Suede, canvas, gold hardware- anything else with that?

Boots at the ankle with cut-out detailing

At the round table of flats flats flats

Branded accessories: Nine West is also offering fun iPhone cases

Wow! Look at all the colour! Hello spring! They’d all look great with my black and white (year round pretty much!) outfits! Thanks for showing us how we can spoil our feet this spring.
Thanks, Jordana! You’re so right and I, too love the colour, texture and print mix for spring!
It really is a monochromatic lover’s dream come true since these shoes are all about adding zing to simple solid-coloured outfits. Although I confess to looking forward to wearing print on print on print- a total head-to-toe print look is really inspiring.

A zing – what a fun and most perfect word! It’s exactly what my feet will need this spring!
Nah – I would go insane if I tried the print-on-print-on-print trend. I think the headache is starting already…hee hee. I’m a monochromatic gal as we all know!
