Happy New Year!

Chanel Iman for H & M

The New Year parties may have ended but that’s no reason to say goodbye to glitter and glam. Don’t go packing away your jewels quite yet as shimmer and shine are here to stay.

    Happy New Year, Jordana!

I love pearls.. the mega-pearl trend is going strong this winter. I’m thinking of layering a few strands myself. I really like the pearl & ribbon combos and the brooch detailing- very fun yet decadent.

I quite like the pearls & ribbon combo as well. Pearls are so Chanel, don’t you think?

Love pearls, and LOVE the idea that wearing lots of them at once will be in vogue. Jordana, any personal preference for large or small pearls? Am kinda loving the second “at Ann Taylor” look.

      Hi Sofia!
I love the layered look of long strands of various sized pearls…not quite as much as Chanel Iman is wearing but more like the first Ann Taylor look. I like the short chubby pearls but feel that they aren’t as flattering on me.

I agree, I think Chanel Iman pulls off the look but it’s not the most wearable. I think everyone could pull off Iman’s necklace if we omitted the armfuls of pearls. I think the largess is great- I picked up a large ceramic ball necklace last spring and it’s the biggest I’ve ever gone and it looks great (although not pearls).
