Books: My Wonderful World of Fashion

My Wonderful World of Fashion

One of the gifts I received this past Christmas was My Wonderful World of Fashion: A Book for Drawing, Creating and Imagining by Nina Chakrabarti. The book is filled with pages and pages of drawings of everything from Egyptian headresseses to bow ties to woolly hats.

Name necklaces: Ready for your imagination

Footwear: Ready for some colour

It is the reader’s job to bring these pages to life. Using his/her imagination, the reader turns the basic black and white images into works of art using colour, patterns and textures. The final product is a fashion portfolio of sorts. I think it’s a fun book for any fashionista!

I’m going to use my copy (thanks C & J) as a guest book…giving everyone who visits the opportunity to explore their creativity!

What a great book! And a fab idea to use it as a guest book!! I think that it’s going to be so fun to see what everyone colours in over time. Love it!
