Anchored and loving the east coast way. Jack Spade vegetable-dyed leather card holders, $95 at Bonobos
Back from a too-short séjour on Maine’s salty east coast, it’s no wonder that my lobster-licked lips and foggy eyes are still thinking about the best way to catch a body surfing wave.

Here’s what’s floating my boat on this inland Wednesday: sea-inspired threads and accessories by American designers, hand-picked and available via New York-based Bonobos:

Thames seersucker tie by Ernest Alexander, $72

Mark McNairy silk tie, $75

Luminox green navy seal watch, $350

Tucker Blair for Bonobos Lobstah Chowdah belt, $80

Frat Star striped canvas belt, $50

Nauti durable canvas beach tote, $195

All images courtesy of featured designers’ goods available over at Bonobos.

Gosh darn – your writing is so witty. Great play on words this time Johanne! Glad you had fun in Maine and glad to see it provided some fashion inspiration.

Thanks, Jojo! It was such a lovely trip, I’m still in la-la land about it. Totally inspired to move to the coast- forget the sailor stripes for vacay- I want full-time waves, baby!
