Bold hues at Roots for spring

February 7, 2012

Wrap it up! Roots' spring 2012 leather accessories collection offers fun envelope clutches with bright accents.

This month we checked out Roots’ new collection of leather goods for spring. The bags, clutches, shoes, totes and hoodies combine bold tulip colours with soft worn-in neutrals in Roots’ signature quality Italian leathers.

Did you know that Roots’ leather accessories are made in Toronto, Canada? (don’t you love a ‘did you know’ moment?)

Here are our pics of our top picks for spring:

The fold-over clutch in two-tone leather in combos like magenta and red, and this wheat and orange combo. And just look at that leather gain- yum.

Fruit punch slim packs

Citrus pouches to go

Bold messenger school sac with handsome twin pockets and buckle closures.

We loved the denim naturals- earthy, simple, functional pieces. Duffels and oversized sacs are perfect for him or her.

Our fave leather tote's touch is like a whipped cream mirage. Look- it even floats

The leather hooded bomber is a nice touch in natural bone colour

A black perforated leather vest is spot-on for spring

We've got our eye on this one

Yeah I think Roots is trying really really hard to impress us, and it’s working!! I’ve got my eye on that perforated leather vest and the envelope clutches – I know the vest doesn’t look fab on this post but I can see it being really cool with many an outfit.
