Will you go pink?

February 28, 2012

This shade of pink is light and fresh for the pastel season. Will you be braving pink trousers for spring? Above, $79 at Zara

We’ve spotted more than a few pink pairs of pants for spring and as friends of colour, we’re probably gonna be wearing some.

Will you go pink on the bottom in a trouser kind of way?

The Gap hot pink skinny jean, $68

I'm a huge fan of this lilac colour

Old Navy offers this bright idea for only $32.50

Banana Republic does the hue in a bermuda short, $49.50

And how about sorbet orange? (my fave idea for spring)

Light orange trousers, $29.95 at H&M

Is there an age cu-off for these colours? I am digging the hot pink pant.

      Absolutely not!

Colour is always age appropriate. If you love ’em then rock ’em.
The most fabulous, confident women I know are all into colour and wear all shades throughout their lives. People who are interesting, outgoing and living life to the fullest tend to wear colour- so if you’re drawn to the hot pink pants, you need to get a pair.

I find that wearing colour affects my mood- I don’t feel as great about myself in a grey sweater as I do in neon. Go bold and have fun with it. Life is too short for ho-hum pants.
