The nice sales rep for Hudson denim took me for a fall preview tour that makes me want to ditch the summer maxi and pounce right into fall. That’s how amazing the new collection is.
A few weeks ago I attended the most exciting denim preview of Fashion in Motion’s life. And quite possibly in my life too.
Waxed skinny jeans. Leather trim. Glow-in-the-dark tuxedo striped stretch denim. Ombré denim. Pastels for fall. Corduroy. I was left wanting it all and actually getting very excited about the idea of shopping for jeans.
So thank you, Hudson, you’re making this upcoming fall season a more beautiful place indeed.
Here are the pics and the amazingness of my visit to the label’s fall 2012 preview of women’s and men’s denim.
Amazing trim on a well-made, perfect-fitting pant
Leather trim! Yes!
Glow-in-the-dark stripes from the hip down to the ankle. So cool
Fun colours and faded, barely-there lace prints on denim.
This lace print is almost a snakeskin print. And we know how I feel about snakeskin
Aren’t these washes and colours awesome?
The classic denim jacket. I love the Hudson signature shape of those front pockets
Waxed and stretchy denim- so cool, so slick and so frikken hot
Waxed denim for women and for men in gorg colours
Okay so I didn’t *adore* these print trousers but here you get a nice shot to answer “How does my butt look in these?” (Answer: super fine)
See these awesome waxed denim jeans? They almost look like leather
The waxed denim trousers have a really nice feel to them and rich hue
Are you bored of waxed denim yet? Me neither! Check out these fun colours. I want the sage green
That’s ombré dyeing, not the sunshine. They’re actually really cool. At first I had my doubts but I think they’ll be very fashion forward
Sifting through the treasures. I have to say that a guided tour like this is so insightful and truly makes me appreciate the brand’s design focus
One-of-a-kind washes and finishes for a few exclusive pieces
See how the ombré treatment just under the knee is actually really cool
Pastels for fall? How amazing for a non-fall colour person like me. Hudson, you took it home, baby.
