On a hot summer’s day in Sweden you might take the train and find yourself attended by a male worker wearing a skirt. Is this odd?

Last month’s heat wave caused a massive swelling in skirt sales to men who work for Arriva (okay, only about 15 men actually slipped on skirts), and with it caught the attention of media around the world this week. Arriva has since modified its dress code to permit men’s shorts. But will the skirt-wearing men switch to shorts?

One answer: skorts.
