The Chanel J12 jewelry ceramic watch: mother of pearl dial, eight diamonds, high precision quartz movement, scratch-resistant glossy finish and water resistant to 50 meters below surface. About $8,500.

Surprise, surprise: we were all over the white ceramic Chanel time piece we had the sumptuous pleasure of slipping on at the Sharp For Men Magazine party last week but -wait!- weren’t we also quite smitten with the Target equivalent (first seen on Jordana and now on our very own copycat wrist!?) (below):

Target's white watch is a fine polymer specimen: quartz movement, polyurethane bracelet, lifetime limited warranty. $12.99 at Target

As a gal who has tried on both the Target and Chanel time pieces in the span of 6 days, the verdict is in: a white watch is a must.

Believe you me, I’m SO with you. The Chanel watch felt absolutely sublime on the arm- it has such a comfortable weight, it’s glossily beautiful and the white is just stunning. Yes, of course it’s wayyyyyy above my budget but oh my what a treat it is for those lucky wearers.
